VOXLAB INC. Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the applications, websites, content, products, and services (“Services”) provided by VOXLAB INC. (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). Please read these Terms carefully, as they constitute a legal agreement between you and VOXLAB INC.
By accessing or using our Services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.
1. Our Services
VoxLab is a text-to-speech mobile application that uses artificial intelligence to generate realistic sounding speech. Our Services offer various voice impressions, including those of recognizable and famous people/voices. These are purely synthetic voice models intended for entertainment purposes, and are labeled as such. Any resemblance to the voices of real persons, living or deceased, is parody and not reflective of their views, beliefs, or perspectives.
2. Registration and Verification
To access our Services, users must complete a mandatory registration process that includes SMS or Email verification. As a welcome offer, new users are granted 50 complimentary credits upon successful registration. These credits enable the generation of content within the app, with each credit corresponding to 10 characters of speech output. We strictly prohibit any form of system abuse or fraudulent behavior in regard to our bonus credits. Violations may lead to immediate adjustments to service access, suspension, or account termination, at our sole discretion.
3. Usage of Our Services
While you are free to use the content generated from our Services as you see fit, we require that VoxLab is credited appropriately when its output is used.
We require our users to use our tool ethically and not in a harmful or misleading manner. This includes, but is not limited to: Creating or disseminating false or misleading information, engaging in fraudulent activities or making defamatory statements, violating any laws or regulations regarding privacy or the use of technology, and creating false endorsements.
Users found to be engaging in such activites will be subject to service modification, suspension, or termination at our discretion.
VoxLab provides the tools for content creation, and users are solely responsible for the content generated (“User-Generated Content”). VoxLab expressly disclaims all liability for any User-Generated Content. Users must ensure their content complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
4. Content Authentication
To maintain transparency and protect against misuse, all content generated through our Services is embedded with a unique digital watermark. Removing, altering, or tampering with the watermark transfers all liability for the use of the content to the user. This watermark is an essential feature of our Content Authentication process, highlighting that the content generated is generated using artificial-intelligence and is synthetic in nature.
Once the watermark is removed, altered, or tampered with in any way, the responsibility for any subsequent use of the content rests solely with the user. VoxLab expressly disclaims all liability for misuse, claims, or damages that arise from content circulated without its authenticating watermark.
We remind our users that the integrity of the watermark is key to ensuring responsible use of the service and to protect all parties involved. Your compliance with these terms is mandatory for continued access to our Services.
5. Reporting Misuse
If you encounter any misuse of our services or believe that content generated through VoxLab is being used in a manner that violates these Terms, please report this to us immediately via our contact information provided in Section 8.
6. Copyright and DMCA
We are committed to respecting the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. If you believe that your copyrighted work has been used in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, you can contact us via our contact information provided in Section 8.
7. Transactions and Refund Policy
All transactions made through the app, as stated in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store terms of service, are final. No refunds or exchanges will be made. If you experience issues with a transaction, you can contact us via our contact information provided in Section 8.
8. Changes to the Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will make reasonable efforts to provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
9. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or use of our Services will be resolved in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which our company is registered.
